About

Hi, I’m Jodi — a singing teacher, songwriter, producer, and independent artist in Sydney.

I hold a Bachelor of Contemporary Performance from the Australian Institute of Music and a current Working With Children Check (WWCC), and have over 8 years of experience teaching children and young adults (ages 5+) the principles of contemporary singing.

My background as a performer and educator is shaped by academic and practical experience. During my tertiary studies, I gained further experience and knowledge in advanced music theory and vocal technique, and have spent years performing and singing both on stage and in studios. My passion for music—both performing and writing— accelerated in high school, where I was introduced to the principles of music production. I began to experiment layering harmonies, editing my recordings and writing melodies and lyrics, for compositions of all genres.

In 2015, alongside other participants at AIM, I performed for an audience of 30,000 at the One Million Women campaign for climate action, sharing the stage with Deni Hines and contributing to the recording of the campaign anthem, You're the Voice.

I have released my own music independently since 2020, which you can find here. I am lucky to have had recognition on national radio stations including triple j and triple j Unearthed, and received placements on editorial playlists by Spotify and Apple Music.
